Welcome to Ohio Prison's.
I'm very fascinated with the prison system. I've been married twice and both of my husbands have been in prison. With being married for a total of 30 years I have been going to visit them a total of 9 years and have visited 2 Federal Prisons and I have lost count of how many State Prisons.
But what makes it so neat is the history of some of these places as well as how ling they have been around.
Two that interests me are Ohio State Penitentiary and Ohio Mansfield Reformatory.
The Ohio Reformatory I have visited while my husband was imprisoned there. Yes he was in the Old Reformatory which I visited him many times before he was moved to the new part (which is now gone).
Here I'm going to post many things. The Fire of OSP in 1930 and I'm working on getting the OR cemetery list.
